Overview

CHARLES BUKOWSKI es uno de los escritores más conocidos y celebrados de las letras estadounidenses contemporáneas. Nació en 1920 en Andernach, en Alemania, hijo de un soldado norteamericano y de una costurera alemana, y llegó a los Estados Unidos a los tres años. Creció en Los Ángeles, donde vivió durante más de cinco décadas. Publicó su primer relato en 1944 y sus primeros poemas en 1946. Falleció en San Pedro, California, el 9 de marzo de 1994 a los setenta y tres años, poco después de haber finalizado su última novela, Pulp. Abel Debritto es autor de Charles Bukowski.
